Stay in Scottsdale for the Summer!

If you don't subscribe to Travel Zoo, you should. On this week's top 20 it features:

$129/night for The Westin Keirland Resort. We stayed there for Fourth of July weekend a couple of year's ago, the kids enjoyed the pool and lazy river, I think even a dive-in movie, and I enjoyed the spa. We sat Jeff in a cabana with a good book, then took the complimentery golf cart shuttle to dinner at Zinc Bistro.

Movie Review-Incredible Hulk 2008

Well, to say the least I was disappointed; on the tales of Iron Man, I thought that Marvel could at least equal the depth and character of The Hulk. As a kid who grew up watching the tv show, I couldn't believe the only opponent to Hulk was a power hungry military type dude who wanted the gamma experience.

SPOILER ALERT-The only saving grace for this movie were the cameos by Lou Ferrigno and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. "Nice Suit..."

Community Connects-McDowell Mountain Ranch

Michelle Lightner has come up with an idea for a networking group in McDowell Mountain Ranch. The idea is to simply create a community network of people who are interested in getting to know their neighbors, at events that allow us to support local businesses, while we also raise money for great causes.

Our first event will take place late summer at Temple Bar at Thompson Peak and Bell Rds, and will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Movie Review-Kung Fu Panda

Took the family to see Kung Fu Panda, starring the voice talents of Jack Black as Po, the title character, and it was fun for all. It was a cute movie with a good message-believe in you!
